Imagic v.9d65.0 -- Final Release of Imagic in its current state.
I am going to completely re-write Imagic from the ground up with C++, so watch for it in summer '92...
NOTE: For those out there still using System 6.0.x, you must have 32-bit Quickdraw. If you do not have 32-bit QuickDraw and are using System 6.0.x, you can get it from APDA. Sorry, I can't distribute it with Imagic due to the now infamous Apple lawyers. If you have System 7.0, you need not worry, 32-bit Quickdraw is built in.
This version has a few bug fixes, and other things added.

| EXTERNAL FUNCTIONS |
----------------------
There are now External Functions that can be used to write your own Imagic functions!
If you know how to program in C, the package with documentation is included in this distribution package. Write your own functions, distribute them, etc. Have FUN!!!
Imagic .9d65.0 is the only version that will support the functions, so be aware. Also, I hereby pledge that all functions written in Imagic .9d65.0 will be compatible with the major rewrite coming out in Summer.
Also, a Save Selection as Text… command has been added to the File Menu. When you make a selection, you may save the pixel values out as an Excel text file. This allows you to take your data and put it into the Spreadsheet for direct calculations.
In addition, a Compute 3D has been added. It will compute a three dimensional view of the given image. Have Fun.
The way Imagic now deals with color tables is completely different. Imagic is now compatible with 24-bit color and multiple color devices. One major difference that most users will notice is that Imagic will no longer corrupt the background when you quit.
However, with version d65.0, the only geographical projection that is supported is the Linear. All others will display 180°0’, 180°0’, in the tools palette. The new release in the summer will contain all projection schemes.
There have been other changes as well, but I'll let you play with them...
